Subject: Sharif’s kids Custody Case
As a citizen of California, we are deeply concerned on the custody of Huda and Saba 1 1/2 & 2 1/2 yrs old respectively, by the child protective services (CPS) more than a year ago, based on the accusation of child abuse. The case of these children was reviewed by a Medical Specialists who concluded that the injuries were only caused by a medical condition and not by the physical abuse as cited by CPS.
We as a Muslim community are deeply concerned with this wrongful accusation and especially with the custody of these young children by Non-Muslim foster parents. We are requesting that the Child Protective Services release these children to their biological parents or biological family so that they have an opportunity to exercise their religious freedom.
We are presenting this petition to seek your urgent attention on this very sensitive issue.
